My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Say Hello to Peanut Brittle! This handsome baby boy has had a hard life judging by his response to everyone. We don't know what his past has been, but we know what his future holds. He will be loved and cared for once he finds his people. Peanut is in the DASH Prison Training Program where he will learn his manners and some basic commands. He is working on sit, stay and leave it. He is a bit cautious with new people, so his trainer is working on bonding, socialization, confidence building and making him feel safe. His handler reports that Peanut has come a long way since he first started the program! He knows how to relax, loves his chest, belly and ears rubbed, enjoys naps, learns quickly and listens well. He is getting better with people, being less scared and more curious. He seems to be much better with this (more sociable) in the presence of other dog playmates, so another dog companion in the home would be a blessing in helping him adjust. He's good with other dogs, walks on leash, does well in his crate and is house broken. He has not yet been cat or kid tested so proper introductions are recommended as well as any other dogs he will be living with. Do you have the heart and patience to love this boy till he can love you back? He's hoping to find his safe place with you. If you would like to meet him, Apply today!!

More about this rescue

DASH ( Danielle's animal safe haven) rescue Is a 501 3c rescue trying to place as many homeless animals in loving homes as we possibly can. We pull breeds of all types and sizes. We rescue dogs from your purse puppies to your gentle giants and all in between. We pull from kill shelters where most pups are on their last day. We try to keep our adoption fees within reason, but they do vary. In rescuing these hopeful pets, there comes a lot of expenses. These fees help with vetting, medications, altering (age appropriate) and so much more. If you are interested in fostering or donating any unwanted supplies, cash donations or even food, please contact dashrescue00@gmail.com, we are always in need of any kind of help. The more help we get, the more lives we can save. You can also email us.
