Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Dottie came into the shelter 10/24/23 by JCSO. She was super skinny and terrified. Throughout the months she continued to lose weight and look even more skeletonized. She had diarrhea every single day. Even after taking her to the vet, getting bloodwork done, and continuously increasing her food we couldn’t figure out why she continued to lose weight. She was so scared of humans she would sit in her kennel and shake anytime someone walked by. Finally the only thing left to try was to get her into a foster home. One of our employees graciously took her home. In a very short amount of time her stool returned to normal, she’s gained weight, looks AmAzInG, and we’ve been able to cut her food back to normal amounts. She’s still very timid around strangers, but she absolutely loves dogs and once she gains your trust she’s a big cuddle bug. Dottie deserves a home where they understand she needs time and TLC.
