My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

For the MONTH OF MAY all our kitties that are SIX MONTHS or more will receive HALF OFF their adoption fee... making their adoption fee $37.50 for a fully vetted cat.
Looking to add some :cluck cluck cluck" to your life?! Meet Chicken!
Chicken is believed to be a domestic short hair and approximately 2 years old. This kitty was new to being loved/was quirky when it came to affection but she now loves it! She is incredibly loving and sweet. She likes to use her voice and will greet you with a "meow" when you walk in the room. Chicken is also learning how to play with toys and would prefer to be an only fur child but is proving she warms up quickly to others. Chicken is doing great with the litter box, is easy to feed, and is overall a superbly healthy kitty. One look into her mesmerizing eyes and you will find you are needing to add some Chicken into your life!
You may apply to adopt Chicken at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Their adoption fee is $75 and She is vaccinated, FIV and FELV tested negative, microchipped and spayed.
Many cats do well alone, but they often do great in pairs as well and can benefit from having a feline friend. Because of this, our adoption fees are $75 for one kitten or cat and $100 for two when adopted at the same time. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Our Mission is:
OUR MISSION
- To rescue and re-home neglected, abused, or otherwise unwanted pets into loving homes.
- To provide shelter in the form of a lean-to or doghouse to outdoor pets in an effort to keep them dry and warm.
- To provide outdoor dogs with alternatives to chaining in order to improve their quality of life.
- To promote the importance of spaying/neutering pets and to offer this service to pets in our community.
- To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of pet tethering.
- To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their pet happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.
