My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flower is a sweet three-year old beagle girl who was turned into the rescue. Not much is known about her former life except that she was a breeding dog. She started off being a little rough around the edges, but she is quickly adjusting to life with a family. Like a diamond, all it takes is a little bit of polish to make her shine! She is slightly timid and unsure, but always open to affection from her humans. She has gained a lot of confidence and training during her short time at her foster home.

Flower is very eager to please. She likes to follow her human from room to room. She gets so excited to spend time with her human that when they first sit on the couch, she will climb on top of them, and put her face to theirs to say hello. After ten or fifteen minutes of soaking up all the attention, she will finally settle down. She always wants to cuddle with her humans, but her second favorite place to sleep is on a pile of laundry. She sleeps under the desk while her human is working from home. Flower is quiet in the house. She is mostly housebroken, but still has an occasional accident. She can get a little too nosey around human food. She likes to explore all the smells on walks, so could use a bit of leash training as well. She has adjusted well to being left at home alone, so would do well as either an only dog or with other dog siblings. She sleeps quietly in her own crate at night but would gladly sleep on the human bed if allowed.

Flower is heartworm positive, so she will come with a year’s supply of advantage multi. Flower is a great, loving dog who has so much potential. She just needs the right family to give her the love and patience that she deserves.
