My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna is a gorgeous, sweet, and affectionate girl. She walks right up to strangers with confidence and starts a conversation immediately. She considers everyone her friend and feels right at home on your lap or rubbing up against your leg. She's a purr machine and loves to be pet and scratched.

Luna's a petite girl, about 9 lbs. Loves to eat but doesn’t overdo it. Now treats are a different story! She will gorge herself on those if not stopped. Luna grew up around many cats but prefers the company of her humans. She can be territorial and doesn't get along with the foster home’s resident cats. She has not been around dogs.

Luna is comfortable with people of any age. She loves the teenage daughter in her foster home and has been around younger children that are gentle and respectful. Luna is independent and can be alone for several hours, but she would love to have her human with her. She's not clingy but definitely loves a lap (or laptop) to lay on and make biscuits.

Luna is healthy but
FIV+ which is a condition that weakens her immune system. Cats with FIV typically live relatively normal, full lives with regular vet checks and care.

Luna girl is not super active and is selective about toys she plays with. But once or twice a day, she gets the zoomies and is so funny to watch. This little girl is one of the best cats you’ll ever meet. Everyone she meets falls in love with her. She’s one of a kind. We estimate Luna's birth date to be around January 2022. Kitty Bio #1111SC-Lu.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps:

  1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat.

  2. Complete our adoption questionnaire.

  3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent or in person to see if the cat is a good fit for your household.

  4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist.

  5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption.
