My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Dahlia
Hello there! My name is Dahlia! I have been on my own for a little while. It's believed that my owners moved away and left me behind. I am so scared here, but the nice people have been showing me lots of love and attention. I also met some doggie friends, and that made me feel even better. I am so sweet, a little shy, and a cuddle bug. I know how to sit when asked, and I take treats so gently. All I wanted to do was hug my new friends to show them how grateful I am for their love. Please help me find a new family that won't ever leave me behind again! I am fearful of men, but once I warm up to you I'll love you forever. :) I would do best in a one person home. Preferably a female

More about this rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
