My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Pepper, and I'm ready to find my forever home! Let me tell you a little bit more about myself. First off, I want to be upfront and say that I'm not a fan of cats, so I'd prefer a home where I can be the only four-legged friend. As for kids, I can get along with older ones, around 12 and up, but I might be a bit too energetic for the little ones. With some patience and training, though, I know I can learn to be the best companion for older kids.

Now, I'll admit, I could use a bit of training, especially when it comes to walking on a leash. I tend to pull a bit, but with some guidance, I'm sure I can improve. Despite my leash manners, I'm a playful pup who loves nothing more than romping around and having a good time. I'm a busy bee who absolutely adores rope toys - they're my favorite!

When it comes to strangers, I can be a little slow to warm up, but once I get to know you, I'll be your loyal companion for life. I absolutely love being brushed - it's not only great for keeping my coat looking sleek, but it's also a wonderful way for us to bond.

I'm also a big fan of car rides - there's nothing quite like feeling the wind in my fur as we cruise down the road together. And let me tell you, I'm one smart cookie! I love learning new tricks and tasks, and I'm always eager to show off my skills.

Now, I do have a bit of separation anxiety, so I would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Experience with shepherd breeds would be a plus, as I have the typical high energy, high drive, and easily bored temperament of a working breed. But with the right guidance and plenty of love, I know I can be the perfect companion for the right family. If you're ready to welcome a smart, goofy, and lovable pup into your life, then look no further - I'm right here waiting for you!
