You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Max is a terrier mix who weighs 16 pounds. He has a scruffy coat and stands about 12' at the withers. He and his smooth coated brother, Eddie, came into our care when their owner ended up with more dogs than the ordinance in their town allows.Max's foster mom describes the brothers as a barrel of fun. Their sister Honey who is in a different foster home is also available from Haven to Home.
Max and his brother Eddie are playful and loving. When they came to us, they were extremely frightened; not showing their true personalities until they began to trust and rely on their foster mom. In a new home, they will most certainly need an adjustment period. Therefore, it is essential that their adopter be patient. The boys get along great with the other small dogs in the household.
Max and Eddie do not have to be adopted together; however, to be happy, they must go to a home with other playful, friendly canines.
Max is neutered and up to date with vaccines. He is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.
We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
