My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilson is a darling toy or teacup Poodle that was surrendered to a South Georgia Animal Control facility by the breeder who had been using him as a stud dog all Wilson's life. Wilson shows that he was not treated well, and is very timid. He trembles when we hold him in our arms, but after a few minutes he will stop trembling. Wilson never tries to bite. He's just terrified of us humans.

It will take a patient and loving owner to win Wilson's trust and loyalty. Wilson will sleep quietly in his little dog bed. He always goes potty when we take him outside and then quickly returns to the front door to be let back in the house. He has no interest in exploring the outdoors or wandering off.

Wilson's hair was cut short when we got him. It was stained from living in the dirt, probably with some sort of a dog house for shelter. We're trimming away all the orange hair from his feet, legs and underbelly, and we can see that white hair is growing in to replace it.

Wilson has been neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $250.

If you have room in your heart and home to bring Wilson back to being the dog he should have been, please write to us at pricelesspoochrescue@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt him. We live in far western North Carolina, about 2 hours away from Atlanta, Asheville and Chattanooga. We can drive to meet you if you can't come to us.
