My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

After being found as a stray, poor sweet Teeny was never reclaimed and found herself alone at the shelter. At her age, she was very nervous and just wanted the comforts of home like she was used to. Teeny loves her crate and safe space and is the perfect little angle in a home. She doesn't mind other dogs but doesn't particularly want to join in in any chaos going on. Ultimately, her wish is to have a cozy spot on the couch and nice bed to sleep in at night, and she'll be the happiest girl in the world. While it can take her a bit to settle in and feel comfortable in a new place, she also loves kids and is happy to get loved on by them.

More about this rescue

The HSVLC is a non-profit organization that only rescues animals based on available foster homes and funding. All of our dogs and some of our cats live in foster homes. Loving families have taken them in and are caring for them until they find their furrever home. We also house many of our cats at our office location. We have four cage free rooms dedicated to housing our resident cats. You can stop by our office during business hours to visit our residents or contact us in advance to schedule a visit with one of our fosters.
