Hello, Nico here!
A little background story: I was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter. I was a bit nervous, but the staff noticed I opened up when I was introduced to some doggie and human friends.
After about a month, I was picked up by my foster family! I was very happy to meet them, but a little shy. After our car ride (where I was a very good boy, of course), I was introduced to my two foster sisters. That’s when I really started to show my personality! I showed everyone how happy and silly doggie friends made me. They’re teaching me how to play fetch and tug, and it’s one of my favorite parts of my day - along with cuddling with my foster parents. Give me all the love, or just let me hang out near you. I’m up for anything!
I’m currently working on crate training - I am getting more and more comfortable entering my crate, but once I’m in there I can hang out, sleep, or just watch Bluey.
I go potty outside no problem, even in the rain!
I love humans, but a doggie sibling would put me on the fast track towards being the confident boy I know I will be. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, loving boy - I’m your guy! I can’t wait to meet you.
Adoption donation of $200 includes neuter, microchip, rabies, DHPP, bordetella vaccines, flea/tick/heartworm monthly preventatives, and dewormers
Interested in adopting?
1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application
2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call!
3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home
Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time.
