My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Frank was recently returned and is available for adoption.  His foster mom said: ' Frank is a gorgeous black Irish boy who was recently returned to GFNJ. He *might* be able to be an only dog as he likes to nap off by himself and doesn't often interact with the other dogs in the house. Frank is a good eater, likes people, chitters and walks nicely on leash.'

Original Posting:
Bumpy Frank recently flew to the U.S. from Ireland and we are happy to welcome him.  He is a very handsome boy who is outgoing but not pushy.  His caregivers in Ireland said about him: 'Frank is a big boy with a big heart. He is kenneled with a female greyhound at the moment but also has lived with female whippets without issue. Frank is quite happy to share his space with others but is also content on his own. He definitely enjoys human attention over other dogs.  Franks is very confident when out on his walks. He is always wagging his tail and will greet you with kisses whenever you meet him.'     Frank is 3 years old and although he loves people, no cats please.

More about this rescue

Greyhound Friends of NJ (GFNJ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing retired racing greyhounds into responsible, loving homes. While GFNJ is predominantly a greyhound adoption group, it will also help some non-greyhounds in need of rescue from high-risk situations by providing them monetary support and/or a safe haven.
