My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Daisy is a three year old mixed breed. Probably a little heeler, some pit, some akita in her. She is very well behaved, housebroken, she does like male dogs, but not other females. She is NOT good with cats. She is good with kids. She doesn't jump on you, she walks well on a lead, although she can, at times be stubborn and not want to go where you are leading. But in general, she is a great dog, well behaved. She can climb a 4 foot fence, so would need a home with a tall fence.

We strongly prefer all our LARGE dogs to go to homes with Fenced in yards.

In some cases, we can make an exception to this.

OUR MISSION

APET's mission is to greatly reduce populations of unwanted dogs and cats, and to reduce animal cruelty, including neglect and abandonment, through spay/neuter initiatives and education.
We recognize the importance of education and public outreach to foster a sentiment of compassionate, responsible pet ownership.
APET also seeks to expand it SPCA-type shelter to provide refuge and adoption options for a multitude of homeless dogs and cats.
