Howdy do! My name is Warner and I have had a bit of a problem finding my "forever" home! I don't understand why I can't find a family to love. I was rescued by a kind stranger along with my littermates on the side of a busy highway where we had been "dumped" by our owner. We were brought to the shelter where we got ready to meet lots of new folks. I was adopted a time or two, but different things happened like one time I went to a new home, but there was a cat and that just wasn't a good situation for either of us. So I am back and trying this "family" thing again. I am about a year old. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. This cute retriever mix would love to find an active family to spend the rest of my life with!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
