My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aldo is a 55 pound 2-year-old Shepherd mix. Aldo is a sweet, happy and high energy dog who may be too strong and active for an elderly dog parent. Aldo’s owners/family moved out of state due to financial hardship and left their 5 dogs (2 shepherd mixes & 3 chihuahuas) for neighbors to re-home. Aldo is seeking a forever home ...one filled with love, affection and proper care for him. Luckily his sad past hasn’t stopped him from believing in the good of people, and his quest to find his permanent dream home this time…which he so deserves!! He was living with Chella and thinks it would be amazing if she could come along with him to his new home!

Adoption is a lifetime commitment. After an application and a verbal interview is completed and it is determined that the adoption is a compatible match, a contract is signed with specific guidelines. An adoption fee (usually between $250-$500) to help off-set medical, feeding and Rescue costs is collected. The contract states that at any time the adoption does not work out, the dog is to be returned to our Rescue group for alternate placement. The dog is not to be 'given away' or 'rehomed' or 'taken to the pound'. If there are other dogs in the home, they must meet prior to adoption. All family members in the household have to agree to the adoption. No dog is to be adopted as a 'gift'. No out of state adoptions.

Adoptions can be arranged by appointment or our dogs can be met on the first Saturday of the month at Petsmart, Desert Ridge Noon to 3:00 PM.

We are passionate about helping the dogs entrusted to our care and will strive to find the perfect home for each dog. 100% of the funds received goes directly to the medical care of the dogs rescued.
