Crate Trained: Yes
House Manners: Good
Walks Nicely On A Leash: Workin’ on it

Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High): Moderate
Physical Fence: Ideal but would likely do fine with walks

Arrival story: Transferred to Waggin’ Tails from Dog Aide, found living outdoors with her sibling during cold spell in January 2024.

Approximate age / Weight: 7.5 months old and 39 lbs.

Elsa is a great snuggler! While she spent the first 7 months of her life as an outside dog, she’s picking up quickly the do’s and dont’s of indoor life. She enjoys going for walks and meeting people around the neighborhood. She would like to hang out with humans all the time. When shes not pleased with something, she’ll let her voice be heard 😊 Elsa isn’t a big fan of the crate but will go in for some yummy treats and sleeps there at night and when left alone.

In her neighborhood walks, Elsa met a few young children and was a bit nervous but very well behaved. Elsa is a champ a the vet’s office but car rides make her a bit woozy.

While Elsa and her sibling likely missed out on some important socialization as young pups, they’ll just need a little extra time when exposed to new things and places.

New Home: Elsa is filled with tons of love to give! She's always lived with her sister and would likely enjoy a home with another dog and would prefer a more laid back type of home environment.

More about this rescue

Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit rescue organization. Our dedicated volunteers rescue, rehabilitate, foster, and re-home all breeds of homeless dogs from area shelters or as owner-surrenders. Waggin' Tails is supported solely through donations and fund-raising efforts. Our volunteers receive no monetary payment for their activities. Instead, their reward is the knowledge that a dog's life has been saved that otherwise would have been lost.
