This dog was picked up by a nice lady who found him on the side of the road on Park Blvd., Palmetto Park, Benton, La. No chip. He was covered in fleas. Blind. Old. We’ve notified animal control that we have the dog. You must show proof this is your dog via pictures... vet records, etc. We don't go off of "see if the dog will answer to xxxx". We don't go off of someone just saying the dog is their dog. You must have PROOF! If no one comes forward by end of day 6/9/2023, we will have the dog vetted and placed for adoption. For our reference, we named him Wongo.

We do NOT take applications for dogs on stray hold. You will need to wait until the dog is officially posted for adoption provided no owner comes forward.
