My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI! I am Spice. Don't let my name fool you, I am a sweet little lady. I am about 6 months old and kind of new to life inside. I was part of a TNR project but the volunteers found I was much too sweet to go back to the feral colony so I went into the rescue colony. I'm a little shy until I feel safe but I am getting less shy every day. My foster family gives me space but is also teaching me how nice it is to get pets. I am starting to play with toys and feel more comfortable as part of a family. If you have some cool spaces for me to explore at your house, I'd be open to meeting you to see if I can continue to blossom under your care.

Check vet reference. Check property ownership. If rental check to ensure rental is pet friendly. Check personal references

Speak with adopter about what they are looking for and to follow up on questions raided during application process.

Our adoption fee is of $150/ kitten or cat. We fix all pets, test for fiv/leuk, chip and do all shots, treat for worms, fleas etc.

We ask you to complete a short application. If you have pets as check with your vet to be sure you are a responsible pet owner. If you never had animals we check some personal references. And we may do a virtual home check.... basically skype or facebook live or the like.

We don't have a store front. All our animals are in foster homes. A meet and greet with any of our adoptable pets can be arranged once an application has been approved

More about this rescue

We are a non profit cat and kitten rescue in Brick, NJ. Our rescue works within our community to help finders trap and fix outdoor cats and, where possible, to socialize and adopt out their kittens. We also help families who must, for one reason or another, rehome their feline companions.
