Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stanley. This precious boy came to us from the shelter. He is emaciated, skin and bones.

Stanley will NOT be ready for adoption for awhile. He has been to the Vet and is being assessed for his current health issues.

Stanley is a precious, loving boy that has started eating and is getting his strength back. He is affectionate and loves to be held in your arms, where he feels safe. He is starting to run around the backyard at his foster mom's home and is getting along with the other dogs.

We are hoping that Stanley's health issues can be dealt with and he will be on his way to recovery.

We have an adoption application, we do a home safety visit, and have an adoption agreement once an animal has been adopted. Our adoption fees are $350. $400 for puppies. Our dogs are vet checked, spayed/neutered, heart worm tested, microchipped, and vaccinated.

NorCal Cocker Rescue, Inc. was established in 2013 by a group of experienced and dedicated animal welfare volunteers. Based in Sacramento, and serving the greater Northern California area, NorCal works with public shelters to place at risk Cocker Spaniels and Spaniel mixes in loving forever homes, and also serves as a resource regarding the unique needs of the Cocker Spaniel breed. NorCal Cocker Rescue is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit Corporation, registered in the State of California. We do not have a facility. All of our dogs are in foster homes.
