My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Angelica is a sleek and loving young house panther who captured our hearts the moment she arrived. She showed up at a feral colony in early January where it quickly became evident that Angelica was anything but feral. The colony caretaker quickly took her in and did everything right in her search to find someone who might be missing her.

Angelica in need of a loving home. She’s already spayed, and now she’s microchipped in addition to being up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines.

While her facial features may hint at a resemblance to a Bombay cat, Angelica's origins remain a mystery, making her unique in her own right. With her affectionate nature and playful spirit, Angelica quickly endears herself to everyone she meets. Her playful antics and loving disposition make her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to brighten their days.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to this charming house panther, Angelica is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to become your purrfect match.

Adoption Fee: $125.00

Our fee generally covers everything your new feline friend needs to start their journey with you:

*Spaying or Neutering: Ensuring the well-being of our cats and controlling the pet population.
*Microchipping: A permanent identification method to keep your furry friend safe.
*Vaccinations: Up-to-date vaccines tailored to the specific needs of each cat.
*Fecal Testing and Deworming: A comprehensive approach to intestinal health.
*Viral Testing (FeLV/FIV): Conducted on all adults and most kittens based on their origin.
*Comprehensive Blood Work: For many of our adult cats, ensuring their overall current health.

In addition to all standard treatments outlined above, many of our cats and kittens have received costly treatment for other maladies that result from abandonment or starting life on the streets.

All donations over the adoption fee are tax deductible.

We have an adoption questionnaire to fill out prior to being approved, and a personal interview with an adoption counselor is required; at our discretion, a home visit may be required. Adopters agree to keep cat(s) indoors only and to not declaw.

More about this rescue

In memory of Peter Zippi, a young man dedicated to the care of animals, The Peter Zippi Memorial Fund For Animals was founded in 1977 by Dr. Alice Villalobos. We have adopted out over 14,000 pets (mostly cats) since then. The fund is run by wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to help those who can't help themselves. The fund sponsors spay/neuter vouchers to qualified persons, and shelter for and adoptions of lost and homeless animals.
