My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m Zipper and I’m a very confused boy. I lived with a family for years and now suddenly I was returned to foster care. Unfortunately, the little kid in my home developed allergies. I’m a very sweet and cuddly 6 year old Boston Terrier /Chihuahua mix and I weigh 36 pounds. I love going for long walks and then snuggling up with my person with a good chewy treat or toy. I’m crate and house trained, I don’t mind cats and other dogs, but I do prefer to keep my toys to myself. Because I’m not a fan of sharing, maybe I’d do best in a home without small children. I also don’t mind being your only pet!

If you are interested in adopting Zipper, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
