Hey there, pals! It's Timmy, the happiest little pup in town! Yep, that's right, I'm one of the fab four PIPs 'box babies' who got rescued from a chilly box when I was just one day old. Thanks to some awesome humans who bottle-fed me, I'm now living the doggo dream!

I may be the biggest of the bunch, but don't let my size fool ya – I've got a heart of gold and enough bravery to take on the world! When I'm not snuggling up with my favorite humans (which is like, the best thing ever), I'm all about that toy-playing life. And let me tell ya, I'm one independent little dude!

Check out my stylish brindle mish-mash on my legs and face – it's like I've got my own fashion statement going on! My foster mom even did a DNA test on me, so stay tuned for the results – mystery solved!

Oh, and when it's chow time, I'm the first to know and definitely not shy about letting you know too! But hey, I'm not just a foodie – I'm also the ultimate shadow, always by your side. Though, I do like to do a bit of solo exploring too – gotta keep things interesting, you know?

I live in this super active foster home with three awesome human foster brothers and a giant foster dog sister – talk about a happening crib! More about this rescue

PIPs key focus is dogs with special or medical needs (who we call Pip-abled), however, we have many non-PIP-abled dogs too! We made it easy to decipher PIP-abled verses non-PIP-able; simply look at each dogs picture and bio.

The Pioneers had a vision to take in the most urgent rescues no one else could which includes puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, dogs with special needs and medical cases in and around North Carolina. Our main purpose is to rescue as many dogs in need as we can with a special focus on special needs.
