Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Courtesy Post** Frito is one and a half years old (born 8/14/22). He is a funny and loving dude with a big personality. He sleeps in a crate or if you’re in the mood to snuggle he will crawl right under the covers with you (or in your pillows)! He is the perfect mix of energy and snuggly. If he is played with enough throughout the day he will sleep all night (and even sleep in late with you)! He is completely vetted, neutered, and microchipped - vet records to be provided. Frito does best with larger dogs that like to play a lot and play rough. He doesn’t mind getting down and dirty with the big dogs- he likes to act like one himself! Frito needs to be fed by himself (no dogs or humans) as he sometimes gets territorial over his food. Although, he loves sharing all his toys! Frito requires a home with no little kids, no cats, no other little animals (bunnies, ferrets, etc). He would be great on a large property that is properly fenced. No short chain-link. No electronic fencing. No wrought iron unless it’s got puppy bars. He has been trained to the words “here and heal” and also knows the words sit down, lay down, shake, and roll over. He is 100% potty trained and will be sure you know when he needs to go potty by either pawing at his crate or the door. Frito is a very emotionally attached/lover dog. Once you build a relationship he is the best companion. He will be protective over you, want your attention always, and beg for your snuggles on the couch and in bed at night! He loves long walks/runs but will be sure to let the other dogs know he’s there (tends to talk a lot on walks but never means bad). He enjoys the dog park as long as it’s fenced in. Overall, Fritos ideal companion needs to not travel often, be home enough to give him the attention he deserves, be stern enough to correct his bold JRT personality, and be ready for a whole lot of love. In order to be considered for Frito you must have a good vet reference and a securely fenced yard. There is a small rehoming fee. If you feel that you would be the right home for Frito, please email his owner at madisoncarter013@gmail.com and they will email you an adoption application. Frito’s adopter must travel to the Austin, Texas area to get him.
