My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

This cute lil fuzz ball is Rags!  Rags is a doodle mix of some sort or at least we think so.  He is about 40 pounds and a sweet guy.  He is still getting used to things at the shelter but he absolutely loves to play ball!  He is friendly and seems to really want to do things that he's asked.  He will need some continued work on obedience but he's well on his way to good boy status.   We are told that he does not like other dogs and we need to see how he feels about cats.  Due to his exuberant nature small children are not a good fit. Rags is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $275.00

Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
