My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

Harry and his brother Lloyd came to rescue in pretty rough shape.  The boys had some pretty significant mange.  This is not uncommon with puppies we rescue from our partner on the reservation but its amazing what some topical Bravecto and regular Tgel baths can do for these puppies.  Check out their before photos to see what an amazing transformation the boys had! We really don't know what the breed make up of these two are but likely terrier of some sort.  The boys are both pretty small.  They were born about the middle of December and are only about 10 pounds at this time.  These two couldn't be more alike and more different really.  Both of the boys are playful, silly, have some food guarding (also pretty common but generally goes away once not with their siblings) and they love toys.  Oh and they are doing really good at going out to potty too!  But that is where their similarity ends.  Lloyd is busy and active.  Harry is chill and laid back.  Lloyd likes to play and be silly and Harry is more in to cuddling.  So if you are looking for a pup to play, go for adventures and interact with other dogs or kids then Lloyd might be your guy?  If you are looking for a more docile and snuggly guy that probably will enjoy more couch time then maybe Harry is your guy?  Either way both of the pups love people and lots of attention.  They are up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  They will be adopted on a neuter contract and their adoption fee is $300.00

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
