My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Fathom
Breed: GSD x Farm Dog Mix
DOB/Sex: Dec 22, 2023/F
Known Health Issues: None at this time.
Good With: Cats! Dogs! Kids!
NO DOG PARKS

Fathom is one of 8 puppies born on a farm. She was surrendered with her mom, Bounty (small GSD), at 6 weeks of age.

Fathom is the sweetest, most precious girl. She's has the innocence and softness that makes you just want to scoop her up, and protect her from the world. But there's a firey spark in their too, so don't let her completely fool you!

Fathom spends her days wrestling with her sibblings, checking out new adventures, and snuggling into me any chance she gets. She is slower to explore new things, and appreciates patience and guidance. Once comfortable, she doesn't hold back, and has a blast!

Fathom is moderately food motivated, but does have a slight tendancy to guard high value items from her siblings. Proper management will be important as she matures, to make sure boundaries are established and enforced.

She would pair well with a fun-loving canine partner, or is able to go solo. She has not yet met cats yet, but with proper introductions and training will be just fine. As she is a softer girl, older kids, that understand boundaries, and canine body language are best suited. She is not for a rough and tumble household.

Her successful adopter must be willing to bring her in for her 16 week booster appointment, as well as her spay, to our vet in St Catharines. This is all included with her adoption.
