My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KEEP IN MIND: Puppies/Dogs are not for gift-giving occasions; they can be an 8+ year commitment.
NOTE: In most cases, breeds are best guess.

Grace is the smallest of the litter but don’t let her size fool you - she’s spicy! Grace is more timid by nature, so she loves being around other dogs that speak dog well. She is fostered with her brother Gus and 5 other dogs from 10 lbs to 100 lbs and she gets along with all of them. Sometimes she plays a bit rough but she is still a puppy. She is also fostered in a home with cats and children - she mostly ignores the cats but she loves the children! Grace is still practising her potty skills and she prefers to go outside (will whine) instead of use her potty pads. She is kept in her Foster’s laundry room overnight where she consistently uses her pee pads, and then she uses a doggy door during the day. If a meal is late, Grace will remind you with her little yowl.

More about this rescue

Lucky Paws Dog Rescue (LPDR) is an incorporated non-profit organization and registered Canadian charity.
Our group had a dream of forming an organization that focused on what is most important in a dog rescue - the dogs! Our goal is to help as many homeless, injured, neglected, and in need dogs as possible, while working towards larger change for animal welfare on a federal and provincial level.

We are also focused on making this a great experience for our volunteers and fosters, as we could not do this without them! Through them, we hope to not only save many homeless dogs, but also to educate and spread awareness to the general public about animal overpopulation in Canada.
