Clarence (and Alabama is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with his current owner in Fontana. Adoption fee applies. Find out more about Owner Placement Cats.

Clarence and Alabama are Litter mates, siblings and very much a bonded pair. They are have the same bright blue eyes, but they have different personalities. They are purebred pedigreed Birmans and very much Birmans through and through.

Their owner, who got these beauties from their breeder, became unable to care for them. They are currently with a caregiver experienced with this breed. This is what their caregiver says about them:

Clarence is curious, friendly and affectionate. He is always the first to greet you as you walk in the door. He likes to go where his people are, he's very social. Whether you're cooking dinner or refinishing your cabinets, Clarence is ready to help.
Clarence loves to nap in bed under the covers. He likes to be groomed (all attention is good attention) but he requires very little assistance with his tangle free fur.

Alabama is a little shy. She'll hang back while brother checks you out. Once she feels comfortable, she's the sweetest girl you've ever known. She's content and affectionate, she is truly a very "good girl". She likes to communicate with you and sometimes it really seems like she's answering your questions. She loves to be brushed every few days otherwise her beautiful fur gets messy (matted). "Bama" loves toys and I find her going into the toy basket and carrying around her favorites in her mouth to other spots in the house.

They both enjoy being brushed, and they both love to play with their toys. They are easy going at meal time because they love food. Feeding them wet food twice a day and they free feed dry food.

They are wonderful in using their litter boxes, no issues there.
They take good care of each other and groom one another. They share food and have never had issue with it. They will also eat anything you leave out so it's important to keep this in mind, always.

Clarence is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

He currently lives with his owner in Fontana.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Clarence (and Alabama please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
