My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Xena! She's an 8 year old beauty who was surrendered at no fault of her own. She previously lived with a female dog who she would have arguments with at times, so she would likely do best with a male dog or as the only dog in the home. She has lived with children from infant up and does well with them. Xena does well when left home alone and does better without being put in a crate.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit, no kill spca. We will adopt out as many animals as we can, but if they never get homes, that's fine, either us workers will take them home, or they will be life time residents. They love it at the shelter. We do not house our dogs in kennels, they have big yards to run in all day, and only sleep in kennels at night. We are one unique shelter.
