My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! I'm a 10 month old pit bull puppy who came into the shelter in December! I still have all of my puppy energy so I'm a very playful and excitable girl who will need someone who is very active. I love playing with toys and getting treats, and I would be perfect to take on longer nature walks or hiking. Since I'm still young, I don't like being left alone, and will also need someone who's able to work with me on my bit of separation anxiety. If you want to schedule a time to meet me, please call my friends at the shelter! Thank you!

More about this shelter

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.

Please consider giving one of our animals a forever home. If you’re looking to adopt a life-long furry companion, we invite you to visit our Shelter!
