My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gravy here! I hope you will check out my story below and give my story a share so I can find my happily ever after! ❤

I am a 9-month-old, 80lb male Great Pyrenees. I am one of the biggest cuddlebugs you will ever meet, yet I never really had a home or family before. Maybe that IS the reason I am so cuddly. Ever since I was little, I dreamed of having a family so when I ended up spending most of my young life roaming the countryside....I was quite disappointed. I kept hoping I would stumble upon my family but no one ever wanted me so I kept wandering with no real destination in mind. People saw me around for months and finally, I wandered up to someone's house that said "No more". They took me in and when no one claimed me(surprise surprise) they reached out for help. PPFT answered their call and I went from a homeless stray to a loved foster dog. I hope to soon become someone's cherished forever dog. Hmm...maybe we should work on that title...doesn't quite roll off the tongue...does it? You get the jist though!

Getting to come in the house may be a new concept to me, but I am a quick learner. I am potty trained and try to be on my best behavior. Now, I am still a puppy. A big puppy...but a puppy nonetheless. This means that I have my ornery moments and will definitely get into things. Such as food that is left unattended. I am a growing boy after all ;) I do believe that the best seat in the house is on your lap. My fosters keep telling me that I am a "big boy" but I have no idea what they are talking about. All I see when I look in the mirror is a lap dog and that is exactly what I am...a lapdog!

I do not believe that I have ever met a stranger. I will happily accept pets from pretty much anyone that I meet. The same can be said for other dogs. I am eager to become their friend and am a big fan of playing and romping around with them. I have not met the creatures called cats. I figure I would probably do fine with them. I am a curious fella so may not heed their personal space at first but hopefully, they are kind and gentle creatures that welcome me with open arms....hey.....why are you snickering?!

I like to play as much as I like to nap. I love going on walks with my foster family, playing with my toys, and wrestling with the other dogs. Once it is time to settle down, I will find myself a comfy spot on top of someone and pass out. Oh, apparently I am supposed to mention that I really like playing in mud? I have no idea why that is relevant. Or why my foster mama shook her head at me when I came in with brown legs instead of white. People are so silly sometimes.

Well, I guess it is time to wrap this up. It is time for me to take a nap and I need to go figure out which person is going to be my pillow. I hope that this was helpful and someone amazing is going to apply to adopt me!
