Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Betsey is a confident, sweet young girl. She can be cautious at first when meeting new people, but once he warms up to you, she is SO incredibly loving. Betsey is a great family dog and currently has a human adolescent foster brother she likes to hang out with. Betsey is always eager to cuddle and engage with you and will gaze adoringly at you with her beautiful brown eyes. She will do these adorable excited tippy taps with her toes and pounce and wiggle all over you.
Betsey LOVES playing fetch and tug-of-war and doing biiiig stretches. She enjoys sitting by the window and watching the neighborhood, sunbathing, and snuggling with her humans. She does currently have separation anxiety, so we think a family who is always around and can ease her into being home alone will be best for her, or better yet- a family with another pet to keep her company!
Betsey is house trained and pad-trained and will go into her crate to chill and work on a bone, but she does not like having the crate door closed on her. This kind of ties into her separation/confinement anxiety. Betsey sits for treats and gets excited to go on walks, is easily redirected with vocal commands and comes when called. She is very smart!
We are very excited to place sweet Betsey into her forever home with people who will cherish and adore her for the rest of her life.
