My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 1/6/2014

Tanner is a sweet and gentle soul with a playful side. His shyness only adds to his appeal, as it is so incredibly rewarding when you are able to win his trust. Tanner does have special dietary needs, but with the right food, he thrives and his playful nature shines through. Tanner loves other cats, and is happiest when he has a feline friend to play with. He's not just a cat, he's a friend who'll be there to share quiet moments and playful romps. Adopting Tanner means welcoming a loving, gentle, and playful friend into your life.

Tanner has a microchip activated feeder that will go with him to his new home when he is adopted. This will help if other cats in the home are on a different diet than he is.

More about this rescue

Foster Paws Rescue works on a daily basis to save cats/kittens at the greatest risk at Greenville's local high kill shelter. Our mission is to find every cat/ kitten a loving forever home. We are an all volunteer feline rescue group. In 2014, we saved approximately 500+ cats/kittens. Most all of our cats are in foster homes so they receive personalized care and socialization. We are always looking for GREAT fosters and people willing to bottle feed during kitten season. Since we are all volunteer, we are in need of help in every aspect of the rescue process. Donations are always welcome whether it is food, beds, toys or monetary. Our long term goal is to work with the community and government to convert from a high kill community to NO KILL.
