Luna Vine is a 14-year-old kitty who came to Project MEOW when she was found left in an empty house after tenants moved out. She was initially pretty stressed from losing her home, but is doing MUCH better in her foster home, showing what a calm and affectionate lady she is when she feels safe and loved! Luna is like a miniature lioness, quiet and elegant. She loves to be on or near you at all times, purring loudly to express her contentment. Luna is good with older children. She will let you know when she wants pets and express when she’s had enough, but once you get to know her, you can read her cues well. Because of this, Luna would likely do better with older children and adults who can be attentive to her cues. We don’t yet know how Luna is with other cats or dogs, but will update her bio as we trial an introduction to our resident cat crew.

Meet the Pet
After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

Sign Adoption Contract
After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81
* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
