Cookie was a house cat her whole life until last winter when she was kicked out into the street when her first owner was evicted. Project MEOW rescued her after searching for a month.
Cookie needs a few days to get to know you, but once she feels comfortable, she wants to sit on your lap. She has the sweetest crackling purr: it sounds like a cozy fire on a cold day. Cookie absolutely loves ear scritches and occasionally she’ll even offer her belly for rubs. At night she wants to sit on you in bed and tell you all about her day.
Cookie would do best in a home with a relaxed vibe. and no other pets. While she loves sitting on your lap, she also likes to do her own thing around the house or just hang out near you, so if you need quiet time during the day, she’s your perfect partner. Meet the Pet
After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

Sign Adoption Contract
After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81
* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
