My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Harlow, a sweet and mellow adult dog with a playful and curious side. She`s a bit shy, but don`t let that fool you. Given some time, she warms up to new people, especially if they come bearing treats! Harlow`s independent spirit means she`s content to explore on her own, but she`s always up for a game of fetch. She adores her toys and can often be found happily playing with them. Harlow`s gentle nature and playful curiosity make her a wonderful companion. She`s just waiting for the right person to share her love and playful spirit with. Could that person be you? Adopt Harlow and discover the joy of a loyal friend who will always be there to play fetch or simply offer a comforting presence.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
