My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sadie, a senior canine resident of our shelter. She`s a bit on the shy side, preferring her own company to that of other dogs. This makes her the perfect pet for someone seeking a quiet, independent companion. Sadie`s mellow nature makes her a calm presence in the home. She enjoys simple pleasures like leisurely walks and relaxing by your side. Sadie has a lot of love to give and is patiently waiting for a home where she can be the only pet. Adopting Sadie means giving her the chance to spend her golden years in comfort, surrounded by love and care. She may be a senior, but her spirit is timeless. Adopt Sadie and discover the unique joy of a senior pet`s companionship.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
