Meet "Kona". Kona is a brindle French Bulldog. He is about 2 1/2 years old and he weighs about 35 pounds. His head weighs more than his body!
Someone witnessed Kona as he was being abandoned near the mall in Waterbury. It happened so fast and there was poor Kona left alone and helpless.
Kona is a great dog. He is somewhat quiet but he is very friendly. He likes to be petted. Kona has a great temperament but, at times, he can be a bit stubborn like they are known to be ... nothing wrong with trying a few "treats" to help remedy the situation!
Kona needs to walk a lot but he will need some training walking on a leash.
In Kona's new home, we will not place him with another male dog. Absolutely "no cats"! Children must be 15 years old or older because Kona is one strong little dog!
You must own your own home. No condos. No apartments.
We can see that Kona's owners never took care of him in general. Kona has never been to a veterinarian. He has not been neutered, he has an ear infection and his skin is flaky because of a very poor diet. It appears that Kona's life so far has been far from a good life.
Well! Kona went to our veterinarian and he got neutered, he got his shots, he tested negative for heartworm and he got microchipped.
To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules.
The adoption fee for Kona is $700.00 firm. No credit cards.
