Sunny is a charming 6-year-old feline with a heart as warm as his name suggests. This golden-eyed beauty thrives on affection and loves nothing more than basking in the sunshine of your company. With his playful spirit and affinity for toys, Sunny is always ready for a game or two to keep you entertained. This sociable cat adores human interaction and will happily curl up on your lap for hours of cuddles and chin scratches. However, Sunny prefers a home where he can be the center of attention, so he's looking for a family with older children or adults who understand his need for space and respect his boundaries. To meet Sunny, please call 843-249-4948 to schedule an appointment, or submit an application at https://humanesocietynmb.org/cat-adoption-form/

HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.
Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.
Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
