My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Malcolm Memorial and I am a big teddy bear! I love hanging out in the Project MEOW recovery space and chilling with the volunteers while they do their shifts. Sometimes they complain that they don't see me sneak up on them - I can be a ninja when it comes to getting close! I enjoy hanging with other cats and I will play with them occasionally if I am in the mood, or I will just watch them and enjoy their antics. I am so happy to be inside and off the streets - I get fed twice a day and don't have to worry about anyone hurting me anymore. I would love to keep you company in your home - I am such a good, sweet boy, and I really want my own family to love.

Malcolm Memorial is about 4-5 years old and is neutered, FeLV negative, FIV positive, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Verification of veterinarian and personal references as well as Landlord (if applicable).

Meet the Pet

After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Adoption Fees (without the 50% off discount):

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
