Meet Uno! If you are looking for a lap dog, this 5 year old miniature poodle is your guy! He came to Helping Paws after his owner could no longer care for him. He does have some sensitive skin and some allergies, but his foster mom has done a great job getting them all under control and getting him back to feeling good! His forever home will need to be prepared to continue caring for his skin and allergies. His eye is a suspected birth defect - he does have one, but it is malformed and he has no vision out of it, but it doesn't stop him at all!
Uno does great with other dogs, cats, and would probably do fine with respectful kids as he is friendly with people :) He is working on housetraining, but does still lift his leg occasionally. But he is very comfortable wearing belly bands until he is fully trained!

Helping Paws is a foster based rescue that does not have a facility to house our adoptables. We believe they are better off in a loving foster home while they wait for their forever family.
