My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable litter of 7 puppies was rescued from a high kill county shelter. They were euthanasia listed along with their mom Sasha. A foster saved their lives. They are so happy and playful now. These adorable puppies are well socialized with each other and were very loved. We believe they were born on Christmas day. Mom Sasha is last picture. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. The dogs that come out of our program are well socialized when they leave unless noted, both with people and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, contract are required. Bark n' Bitches opened in 2006 as the first ever HUMANE Pet Shop. We closed March of 2020. Times have changed and so have we. We are continuing our mission and are now 100% foster based.
Pups are rescued from high-kill shelters in Kern County, Riverside and San Bernardino counties where the euthanasia rate is as high as 85%.
