Rescue FAQs

Bark n' Bitches opened in 2006 as the first ever HUMANE Pet Shop. We closed March of 2020. Times have changed and so have we. We are continuing our mission and are now 100% foster based. Pups are rescued from high-kill shelters in Kern County, Riverside and San Bernardino counties where the euthanasia rate is as high as 85%. Say NO to puppy mill puppies! Say YES to adoption!
We are foster based. Our hub is located in the Studio City N. Hollywood Area. We serve the drivable radius from our hub.

Additional adoption info

All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. The dogs that come out of our program are well socialized when they leave unless noted, both with people and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, contract are required. Please direct all questions to shopbnb@gmail.com.
