Dixie is a petite 6 lb 1 year old Chihuahua who had to have an emergency c-section to deliver 1 surviving puppy. She didn’t connect the dots on motherhood, so her puppy is being bottle fed and raised separately.

Dixie is a little shy initially, but she warms up quickly and loves following the other small dogs around in her foster home. She is very affectionate with her people and we think she will acclimate nicely to a home who has a love for the Chihuahua breed.

She couldn’t be any more darling with her big antenna ears and little white beard. She appears to be housebroken and has a spunky sassy side to her once she gets comfortable. Dixie would love for her family to be home a little more often than not. She has been fully vetted and is now ready to join her home.

Adoption fee is $400 and includes spay, registered microchip, vaccines current, deworming and flea treatment. Apply at www.lovebugsrescue.org
