My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

This adorable little chub is Quimby.  She came in from a hoarding house situation where there were just too many cats in the home.  She was a shy girl when she first joined us but now she is sweet, loving and playful.  Quimby is a director favorite and would love a home where her family would like to play and snuggle.  This little charmer still has more potential to blossom and we would love to see her shine!  Quimby was born approximately April of 2020 and she is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  If you think this this adorable gal might make a great fit in your life go fill out the adoption application.  As always our adoption fees are free will to approved applicants.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
