We are looking for a forever home or foster to adopt for Barbie. She is a great dog and has won the hearts of many. Originally from the streets of Mexico, she has made the move to Canada and is in the GTA area. Barbie is looking for a family who can give her the love and attention she deserves, and they will get it back in return! She has playful energy, loves to cuddle, and enjoys her walks. Barbie is house-trained and walks well on leash. She needs some basic obedience training. When she gets excited while playing, she can jump or be mouthy, but she responds well to corrections. She just needs some consistency in her training. She is good in a crate but does well without it. Barbie has been great around kids but will need some guidance to make sure she doesnt play too rough. She loves dogs, especially smaller dogs and puppies. Barbie wants to be the alpha dog, so she would need to meet any other dogs in the home. Her main interest in cats is chasing them, so its best if she goes to a cat-free home. Overall, Barbie is a fun, lovable dog who needs a bit of guidance to become a great family dog. Paws Above is a small foster based rescue that operates in the Greater Toronto Area. It was founded by Ola Zalewski. Ola has been caring for and training dogs her whole adult life, 20 years! She runs a successful dog daycare business out of King City. She is most passionate however when it comes to homeless dogs. She has been rescuing and rehoming dogs for as long as she has been training them. She specializes in taking in dogs with challenges, we work on their issues and match them up with the perfect family. She saves dogs in Canada and also rescues from abroad.
