My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Love Bug!
This girl has been an outside stray for a long time. She had a kind woman feeding her who wanted her to have a better life. We offered to take her in a find her a loving, inside home. Love Bug had been spayed and has a tipped ear, but she did not have a microchip.
So far Love Bug has gotten her shots updated, been dewormed, treated for fleas, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FelV. She is ready to find her family!
We are not sure how old Love Bug is. We would say she's an adult, but not yet a senior. She does have some scarring on her eyes from either an old injury or infection. It does not seem to bother her in the least.

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
