My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CALL FOR DETAILS
Sachi is available for adoption in a foster home. If you're interested in adopting her, please call us at 619-299-7012.

How this pet arrived:
Sachi was brought in by her previous owner on January 13, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Say hello to this beauty! Meet Sachi! This girl will put a smile on your face each and every day! Sachi came to us in need of help. Our devoted medical team repaired her sore joint/hip and addressed some other medical issues. She has healed and is now ready to go to a somewhat quiet home where she can take it easy and enjoy life. She is likely to never have full function of the limb which may cause her to walk with a hint of a limp, but that won't stop her from living her best life. Her current foster mom says she is doing well and is a sweet girl who sleeps in bed with them and moves their shoes around!! She might prefer being the only dog so she does not have to share. She has earned it. Are you ready to make this girl's dreams come true? Bring a leash and collar when you come to adopt Sachi!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
