My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baron is a male shepherd mix. He was born early November 2023. He is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines including rabies & microchipped. His mom weighs around 40lbs full grown, we have no idea who dad is.

Check out those ears! Baron is a playful, submissive pup. He gets along with other dogs, all sized humans & we can only assume cats. He loves a good blanket to snuggle into & loves any type of toy, especially the squeaky ones. He is all puppy & will need all of his puppy training including potty training. Our best guess is he will be a medium sized dog when full grown.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
