My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cyborg is a male shepherd mix. He was born early November 2023. He is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines & microchipped. His mom weighs around 40lbs full grown, we have no idea who dad is.

Cyborg is a sweet boy who is very smart & is already getting the hang of potty training. He is easy going, loves snuggles & belly rubs. He gets along with all sized humans, all sized dogs & cats. He will need all of his puppy training. Our best guess is he will be a medium sized dog when full grown.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
